Kaili. an increasingly blossoming tourist center boosting many historical and cultural sites, is the capital of the Miao and Dong Minority Autonomous Region, running along the Xiang-Qian (Hunan-Guizhou) Railway to the southeast of Guizhou Province. Positioned along the lofty mountain peaks, the China Fir Resort features riverbeds paved with uniquely shaped pebbles and will surely impress any visitors. Another historical site is the Zhenyuan Black Dragon Cave, a complex constructed during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The cave is divided into six sections: Black Dragon Cave, Ziyang Academy, Zhongyuan Buddhist Temple, Longevity Palace.
