Nauru

Nauru, is the Republic of Nauru, is an island country located in the South Pacific, nicknamed 'Pleasant islet'. With an area of 24 square kilometers, the island stretches 6 kilometers long and 4 kilometers wide. Nauru has a population of only 13,000 people. 3/5 of the territory is covered with rich phosphate deposits on which the economy of Nauru depends on almost entirely. Nauru once established diplomatic relations with China on July 21st, 2002 but China broke the deplomatic relation because Nauru re-established diplomatic relations with Taiwan in 2005.
