The mountain is home to the golden monkey, almost only found in Sichuan Province, yet can be found in abundance on this mountain. Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast,L-Lunch,D-Dinner) Day 1: Chengdu/Mount Emei (L/D)
The first site on our tour, after your arrival in Chengdu, will be Mt. Emei.
Hotel: Emeishan Grand Hotel 4* (Or Similar Class).
Day 2: Mt. Emei /Chengdu (B/L)
In the morning we shall visit the monks at Myriad Years Monastery on Mt. Emei. In the afternoon, we shall make a short trip to see the Leshan Great Buddha. Built over 900 years ago this statue stands at 71 meters tall, making it not only China’s, but the world’s biggest Buddhist statue. This will be followed by a relaxing river cruise in Leshan before returning to Chengdu in the late afternoon.

Day 3: Chengdu (B/L) In the morning we shall visit Du Fu's Cottage. It was in this small cottage that Du Fu lived while in hiding and found inspiration to write many of his masterpieces in a collection of around 220 poems, written during his stay. After this we shall visit the Wangjiang Tower, the symbol synonymous with Chengdu City and is surrounded by natural bamboo forests.
Finally we shall visit the Panda Reserve at Futoushan giving you the chance to see the panda in its natural environment, before returning to the hotel.

Attraction DescriptionEmei Mountain is one of the most interesting mountains to hike. There are several forests, waterfalls, flowers and other animals and creatures that are worth seeing as you hike your way to the top.
Du Fu's Thatched Cottage is the former residence of Du Fu, one of the most famous Tang Dynasty and Chinese poets. He composed around 240 poems in almost four years time while staying at this cottage.
Wangjiang Tower honors a women poet from the Tang Dynasty, Xue Tao. Not many women in ancient Chinese history had a high social status, so the story of Xue Tao is even more amazing.
The Chengdu Giant Panda Breeding Center is one of the biggest if not the biggest centers in the world for pandas and is truly unique. The base has serves several purposes, and has a research lab, panda kindergarten, museum and adult panda areas.
