Trip Highlights - This Dali One Day Tour is provide to show you one of the most romantic cites in China, the picturesque Dali Town. Dalis location between the Cangshan Mountain and the alpine lake, Erhai Lake makes it one of the most beautiful and relaxing places in China. It is inhabited by the Bai (Pai) nationality. So when you arrive Dali, you will strongly feel ethnic minorities culture. Historically Dali was the political and cultural center of Yunnan and is therefore endowed with cultural sites and historical heritage. The main attraction of Dali is probably the surrounding countryside. To the west lies the Cangshan Mountain Range with peaks well above 4,000 meters and a large number of most picturesque Buddhist temples.

Tour Itinerary
Widely known as the "Oriental Switzerland" or "Chinese Geneva" and located in the Bai Autonomous Region, the city of Dali covers a total area of 1,800 square kilometers, with a population of 432,000. Guests are taken to visit the Erhai Lake, one of the seven biggest fresh water lakes in China. Strolling along Erhai Lake can be one of the most romantic things you can imagine in this beautiful oriental ancient town. Afterwards, guests have the unique opportunity to explore the ancient town of Dali, famous for scenic spots such as the aforementioned Erhai Lake and Cangshan Mountain. After the tour, guests are transferred back to their hotel.

Erhai Lake
Erhai Lake got its name because of its shape. The lake is known as a barrier lake and formed by a fault of the Earth's crust. The lake is found in Heigu Mountain of Er'yuan and here one can find a very beautiful and picturesque scenery located around the area of the lake. Other names of the lake are Yeyu Pond, Kunmi River and Xi'er River.
Cang Mountain
Cang Mountain, also known as Dianchanshan, is part of the Yunling Mountain Range and forms an ending section of the Hengduan Mountains. Throughout the peaks of the mountains there are 18 different brooks that flow down to Erhai Lake. The mountain is home to more than 3,000 species of plants, mainly coniferous trees, grasses and shrubs.
