Tour Itinerary
Be picked up from your hotel by private tour guide and vehicle at 08:30 am. Visit Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, a key historical relic sponsored by local people of Guangzhou and overseas Chinese. It is in memory of Sun Yat-sen, the great revolutionary forerunner. The hall is located in the original site of the then Sun Yat-sen's residential Office. Then visit Yuexiu Park, which is the largest park in downtown Guangzhou. Covering an area of 860,000 square meters (212.5 acres), the park is made up of three artificial lakes and seven hills of Yuexiu Mountain. It is also famous for its Zhenhai Tower and the Sculpture of the Five Rams. The Tower is a magnificent building, commanding a bird's-eye view of the whole city. Chen Family Temple
This temple was built to honor and worship the ancestors of the Chen Family. Built at the end of the 19th century during the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, it was also used to house Chen family members who came from all over the province to sit for the imperial examinations. This is why it is also known as the Chen Family Academy.
Dr. Sun Yat Sen Memorial Hall
One of Guangzhou's most recognizable buildings is the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen. As well as being a powerful draw for tourists it also plays host to numerous conventions and concerts. Its distinctive octagonal shape accentuates its traditional Chinese architectural style.
