Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)Our dedicated local guide will collect you at your hotel in the morning to beging your full day tour of Wuzhen. Located 75km away north of Hangzhou, the town is within the triangle formed by Hangzhou, Suzhou and Shanghai. It is one of six ancient water towns south of Yangtze River with a history of over 1200 years. Its residential houses are constructed by the rivers and on both sides of the streets are lined ancient architectures of Ming and Qing Dynasties. Sites of particular note include a wine making plant, a local cloth printing workshop, an exhibition of antique beds from the Ming & Qing Dynasties and a museum of local folk culture. There will also be a tranquil cruise in Chinese gondolas. After the tour you will be returned to your hotel in Hangzhou.

Wuzhen lies in the far north-east of Zhejiang province, about 90 minutes by road from Shanghai. The name "water town" is especially apt; besides lying on the Grand Canal, the settlement is completely encircled by two rivers - the Dong Shi and a smaller tributary, which meet at a T-junction. You will be arranged to visit the six parts of Wuzhen: Traditional Shops and Stores Part, Water Township Customs and Life Part, Traditional Workshops Part, Traditional Local-Styled Dwelling Houses Part, Traditional Culture Part, and Traditional Food and Beverage Part.
