Trip Highlights - Mt. Huangshan One Day Tour take you to enjoy the beauty and four wonders of Yellow Mountain within one day. The City of Huangshan is named after Mt. Huangshan (or Yellow Mountain) under its jurisdiction, about 80km north of Tunxi. "Huangshan" is locally referred either as the City of Huangshan or Huangshan Mountain. The World Heritage Committee of UNESCO inscribed Mt.Huangshan on the list of Natural and Cultural Heritage on the World in 1990. Today it holds the same fascination for visitors, poets, painters and photographers who come on pilgrimage to the site, which is renowned for its magnificent scenery made up of many granite peaks and rocks emerging out of a sea of clouds.

Tour Itinerary
Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)Today you will start from Tunxi and drive towards Mt. Huangshan. Huangshan (The Yellow Mountains) is surrounded by beautiful natural scenery on all sides - facing north to Xin'an River, south of Taiping Lake, and east of Qingliang Peak Natural Reservation. During this tour, you will then take the cable car up the mountain and have the opportunity to look out at the beautiful scenery of the mountain. Then you will visit a scenic area that opened 2001, the Xihai Grand Canyon. You will start out at Cloud Dispelling Pavilion, and then go through the White Cloud Area at Fairy Walking Bridge and come back down to Tunxi later in the afternoon.

Xihai Grand Canyon is a newly-developed scenic area open to public. Within its 25 square kilometers, there are many unique rock formations and fantastic peaks; Archway Peak, Nine-dragon Peak, Double Bamboo Shoot Peak, Stone-bed Peak, Stone-pillar Peak and Pine Forest Peak, just to name a few.
Dispelling Cloud Pavilion stands over several peaks, and offers an unmatchable view of the scenery which lies beneath it. The front of the pavilion is made up of a natural rockery, with views to inspire the imagination. These wonders of architecture transform the area into a natural art gallery.
White Cloud Scenic Area covers roughly 17 square kilometers, including the recent addition of the Dream Scenic Area. As well as all its fascinating views, this area enjoys a tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.
