Tour Itinerary
Day1:Jilin (L/D)
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel and visit the Meteorite Museum, Middle Songjiang Road and Century Square. The Meteorite Museum opened in 1974 and has on display many samples of iron meteorites and stony iron and well as one of the largest stone meteorites in the world. Then you will visit the main city road as well as the main area for shopping. After wards you will stay at a 4 star hotel.

In the morning you will being the tour of Changbai Mountains, that has within the range a dormant volcano that erupted over 300 years ago. The Changbai mountains mean "ever white" in Chinese and the color is from the pumice stones that were formed from the once active volcano. The most beautiful site to see is Heavenly Lake, the deepest alpine lake in China. The buses will drop you off at the lake, which is the central point for every hike in the area. The Changbai Mountain Nature Reserve is part of UNESCO's Man and Biosphere Program and the area around the Heavenly Lake, with its hot springs, waterfalls and scenery is some of the most beautiful in the region. During the day of hiking, you will explore several of these scenic sports along the trails.

Changbaishan is the most beautiful mountain in northeaster China and is home to very many scenic areas, such as a dormant volcano that has not erupted for more than 300 years, as well as the Changbaishan park where if lucky, one can spot tigers. The mountain's name means Forever white' and is called this due to the pumice stones formed in the area, as well as the winter snow.
The Heavenly Lake is one of the most famous sites to visit in the area of Changbai and also within Dongbei. This lake, with a depth of almost 300 meters, is the deepest alpine lake in China. Heavenly Lake is also the epicenter of many volcanic craters scattered throughout the area and is the largest out of all of them.
