Tour Itinerary
Day 01:Arrival in Lhasa (L/D)
You will arrive at the Gonggar Airport and be greeted by your tour guide. Then you will drive to Lhasa and have a rest in the afternoon at a 4 star hotel.

Day 02:Lhasa (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the Jokhang Temple and the bazaar at Barkhor Street. Afterwards you will be taken to the Carpet Factory and the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital. Finally you will see Drepung Monastery, constructed in 1416. The second through fourth Dalai Lamas once lived here. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Today you will visit Norbulingka Park and the Sera Monastery. Afterwards you will then visit the Potala Palace, constructed in 637 by Songtsen Gampo, the first king of united Tibet. Later you will visit a Tibetan Family and then be taken back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 04:Departure from Lhasa (B)
If there is enough time you will visit the Tibetan Museum before being taken to the airport for your return flight.

The Potala Palace is the most widely recognized symbol of Tibet and is the symbol for Tibet. The Potala Palace was built to honor the marriage of the 33rd King of Tibet, Soongtsan Gampo to Princess Wen Cheng of the Tang Dynasty.
The Norbulingka is the Summer Palace for the Dalai Lamas. The park was built in 1755 by the 7th Dalai Lama. This place was the headquarters for the Dalai Lama during the summer and the procession from the Potala to Norbulingka was a big event and a festive occasion.
The Drepung Monastery was founded by Jamyang Chojey Tashi-pelden, a disciple of the founder of the Gelug Sect. The monastery was founded in 1416 A.D.
