Trip Highlights - This tour covers the visits to five cities around Yangtze River Delta. Starting from Shanghai, the golden triangle ring will circle Hangzhou, Wuxi, Suzhou and Nanjing in. The charm of Shanghai lies in the seamless mix of modern and traditional, east and west. Hangzhou boasts its West Lake and is a great place for leisure. Suzhou is famous for the elegant gardens while Wuxi lives up for the Taihu Lake. Nanjing, the capital of ten periods in Chinese history, is a city famed for its rich culture, long history and beautiful landscape. Now Nanjing is the capital city of Jiangsu province and also regarded one of the most attractive tourist destinations in China.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01:Arrive in Shanghai(L/D)
Upon arrival at the Shanghai airport, your guide will pick you up and take you to your 4-star hotel. After checking into the hotel, you will visit the Bund and Nanjing Road and then return to your hotel for the evening.

Day 02:Shanghai (B/L/D)
For your first full day in Shanghai, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple followed by the Shanghai Museum and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Then you will visit a Shanghai local family. For dinner you will be taken to the Central Hotel. The famous Wang Bao He restaurant, located inside, has a history of more than 250 years and has the best Shanghainese Cuisine in the city. After the welcome dinner, you will view the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre. After the show, you will return to your hotel.

In the morning you will visit Yu Garden before taking a soft seat train to Hangzhou. Upon arrival in Hangzhou you will check-in at your 4-star hotel and then visit the Six Harmonies Pagoda. Later, you will be driven back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 04:Hangzhou (B/L)
Today, you will first visit the West Lake and the Red Carp Pond. Then you will visit the Lingyin Temple (Temple of Inspired Seclusion) followed by the Traditional Chinese Medicine Museum.

Day 05:Hangzhou / Suzhou (B/L)
In the morning you will take a soft seat train to Suzhou and then check-in at your 4-star hotel. Next you will visit the Humble Administrator's Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets.

In the morning you will have time to visit Tiger Hill. Afterwards, you will take a soft seat train to Wuxi and then check-in at your 4-star hotel. Next, you will visit Taihu Lake, as well as Yuantouzhu Park and the Lee Garden.

Day 07:Wuxi / Nanjing (B/L)
From Wuxi, you will take a soft seat train to Nanjing. Upon arrival in Nanjing, you will have time to visit the Linggu Temple, the Memorial Hall of Dr. Sun Yat-sen, the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, the Gateway to Ming Tomb and the Confucius Temple. Then you will go to your 4-star hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Day 08:Depart from Nanjing (B)
After breakfast, you will be driven to the airport to prepare for departure.

The Bund (Wai Tan) is one of the symbols of Shanghai. Located along the Huangpu River, the Bund is an exemplar of Shanghai's outstanding foreign buildings, most of which were erected before 1937.
The Master of the Nests Garden is one of the many gardens located in Suzhou. The garden was built in the Song Dynasty and went through several renovations after the Taiping Rebellion that occurred in the 1860s. The garden is very beautiful and focuses around the centerpiece pond that is filled with fish.
Nanjing Confucius Temple was built during the Song Dynasty in A.D.1034. Nanjing Confucius Temple dedicated to the worship of Confucius the great philosopher and educator of ancient China, and the tenets he set down for a perfect society.
