Tour Itinerary
Day 01:Shanghai / Putuoshan
Today you will leave your hotel and take a ferry from Shanghai to Putuoshan. You will then be taken to a 4-star hotel.

Day 02:Putuoshan (B/L/D)
Today you will visit the main Temples of Huiji, Puji and Fayu at Putuoshan. Huiji Temple is situated near the highest point of the islands, Puji Temple is the oldest and Fayu Temple overlooks the sea. Later that night you will be taken back to your hotel.

Day 03:Putuo / Shanghai (B/L)
This morning you will travel around Putuoshan. After lunch, you will take the ferry boat back to Shanghai. You will then go to your hotel to collect your belongings and then travel to the airport.

Situated on top of Foding Hill, the Huiji Temple (also aptly named Temple of Foding Hill) was built in the 58th year (1793 AD) of Emperor Qianlong's reign during the Qing Dynasty. Around 1907, the temple was systemically expanded to include more rooms, making it one of the largest temples on Mt. Putuo.
Built in the 3rd year (1080 AD) of Emperor Yuanfeng's reign during the Song Dynasty, Puji Temple holds the title of the one of the three biggest temples on Mt. Putuo. The main feature of the temple is the Hall of Yuantong, which houses the sacred status of Avalokitesvara.
Named by the infamous Emperor Kangxi, the Fayu Temple, which is situated on the top of Baihua Hill, is one of the biggest temples on Mt. Putuo. Built in 1580 during the Ming Dynasty, and blessed with a beautiful main hall during the Qing Dynasty, the temple features a six layer mound.
