Tour Itinerary
In the morning you will be picked from your hotel and driven to Mt. Laoshan, the first stop on your one day Qingdao tour. Mt. Laoshan is a famous Taoist mountain that has beautiful scenery and can visit one of its best palaces, Taiqing Palace. After lunch will then visit Xiaoyushan Park, famous for being the first hilltop sight of the ancient Chinese traditional style in Qingdao. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel for the remainder of the evening.

Taiqing Palace is the oldest, largest and best temple located on Laoshan. In total, there are 140 rooms and halls inside the temple, including Three Emperor's Hall, Three God's Hall and others.
Laoshan is one of China's most famous Taoist mountains and the only one that is on the coast. The mountain's highest peak is 1,133 meters above sea level and there are 13 bays and 18 islets located near the mountain. At one point, there were nine palaces, eight Taoist temples and 72 nunneries that were home to over 1,000 priests and nuns that lived on the mountain.
