Trip Highlights - This tour combines Rongjiang Guiyang and Guilin, three beautiful cities. Southeast Guizhou is the most attractive place of this province. Their stone or wooden houses, drum towers and roofed-bridges contribute to its architecture forms. A major charm is the magnificence of the ethnic culture. Rongjiang, in the far south-east corner of Guizhou province has a similar appearance to most modern Chinese towns and is an important transport hub connecting Congjiang, Liping and the entire region of Kaili. However, it serves as the base to visit the surrounding Dong villages.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01: Arrive in Guiyang
After your arrival in Guiyang, you will be picked up and driven to your hotel. Later you will visit Qingyan Old Town and then return to your hotel for the evening.
Accommodation: Regal Hotel 4 star (Or Similar Class)
Day 02: Guiyang/Kaili (B/L/D)
In the morning you will drive to the capital of Guizhou, Kaili, and check in at the hotel. After you have lunch, you will visit a local Long-Skirt Miao village where you will learn about the traditional way of paper making.
Accommodation: Grand Dragon Hotel 4 star (Or Similar Class)
This morning you will visit a nearby village to learn about pottery and how it is made. Later you will visit another long-skirt Miao Village, one of the largest minority groups in southwestern China. Later in the afternoon you will drive to Rongjiang and stay at a local hotel.

Day 04: Rongjiang/Congjiang/Zhaoxing (B/L/D)
Today you will visit Yintan Dong Village and then drive to Zhaoxing, another Dong village, the largest in China. Here you will be able to hear their local music, which they are famous for throughout all of China.

Day 05: Zhaoxing/Sanjiang/Longsheng (B/L/D)
In the morning you will visit Tang"an Dong Village and then drive to Sanjiang. At Sanjiang you will explore more local Dong villages as well as visit the Chenyang Wind and Rain Bridge. This area of China is known for its rich mining resources. After exploring the area, you will drive to Longsheng and spend the night.

This morning, after breakfast, you will visit a group of large-scaled rice terraces, some of the most spectacular ones in all of China. Afterwards you will also visit a village of the Yao minority. Later in the day you will drive to Guilin.

Day 07: Guilin/Yangshuo/Guilin (B/L/D)
Today you will take a boat cruise down the river to Yangshuo. When you arrive at Yangshuo you will visit the countryside and see a local villager"s home and get a first-hand experience of the farming lifestyle in rural China. Afterwards you will drive back to Yangshuo and the return to Guilin for the evening.

Day 08: Departure from Guilin (B/L)
After breakfast you will visit the Seven Star Park, Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill. Then you will be driven to the airport for your next destination.

Miao Village
The Miao people have lived in the eastern part of present day Guizhou and western part of present day Hunan for over 2,000 years. Since the Tang and Song periods they have been referred to as the Miao minority.
Chenyang Wind and Rain Bridge
Built in 1916, Chengyang Bridge is the best bridge in the Dong villages. The bridge is made of wood and stone with 5 large stone made columns and fir and wood covering the bridge’s surface.
Yao Village
In China, there are a total of over 2,000,00 Yao minority people, and they are mainly located in Guangxi, Guangdong, Guizhou, Yunnan and Jiangxi provinces and autonomous regions.
