Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel and take a day trip to Zhouzhuang, a town that is built around canals of water and located not far from Suzhou. Zhouzhuang is known as the "Number One Water Town", and its combination of charming bridges, enchanting narrow alleys, well preserved historic homes, and an array of small museums undeniably earn that moniker.Surrounded by water, Zhouzhuang blends the unsophisticated residential houses, paved narrow lanes, stone bridges and some historical sites. Besides of experiencing the folk culture, you will visit several places in Zhouzhuang, including Ancient Town and Old Landlords' Residence. Afterwards you will be driven back to your hotel in Suzhou.

Halfway between Shanghai and Suzhou, lies the ancient town of Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province, which abounds with rivers and lakes. Located within the city limits is the town of Zhouzhang, sometimes called the "Venice of the Orient", thought by many to be the best waterside town in the country. Surrounded by lakes on four sides, the main charm of Zhouzhuang is to be found along its waterside lanes and its beautiful stone bridges where a different vista can be found at every turn. The town contains around 100 houses with courtyards, and 60 of them have arched gateways made with carved bricks. The history of this ancient town goes back more than 900 years old with many houses having been built during the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
