Go and see Guiyuan Temple, one of the four largest Buddhist temples in Hubei Province followed by a visit to the Yellow Crane Tower. Facing Yangtze River to the north and the downtown area of Wuhan on the rest of the sides, the tower is both a ideal place to see the spectacular sights and an inspirational source for poets and celebrities alike. Afterwards, visit the Hubei Provincial Museum, the most comprehensive museum in central China, displaying unearthed relics in Hubei. Transfer to your hotel after the tour.
Yellow Crane Tower was first built in 223 A.D. and the construction of the present tower was finished in 1985. Throughout its history, the tower was destroyed several times. Yellow Crane Tower overlooks the Yangtze River and is a very important inspirational place for Chinese celebrities and poets.
The Yangtze River Bridge in Wuhan, completed in 1957, was the first bridge ever built over the Yangtze River. The bridge is 1,670 meters in length and has two levels, one for cars and one for trains. This is also known as the first highway/railway bridge in China.
