Trip Highlights - This tour covers Xiamen city sightseeing and Mount Wuyi visits. Xiamen is no doubt one of the most important places for foreign visitors to China. As one of China’s major foreign trade ports, the lovely city is characterized by a mild climate, clean sea air, impressive colonial architecture and a remarkable cuisine culture. Wuyishan is located in the northern part of the Wuyi Mountain chain, 15km from the city in northern Fujian Province. It has an area of about 60 sq km. Wuyishan has 36 peaks, all less than 600m high which skirt along a meandering river called Jiuqu. Each rock and peak has a name that describes its shape or which is derived from a legend.

Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner) Day 01:Wuyishan (D)
Today you will be brought to the airport to fly to Wuyi Mountain. Upon arrival at the airport you will be picked up and brought to your hotel for dinner and the night.

Day 02: Wuyishan (B/L/D)
Today you will have a tour of Wuyi Mountain. First you will take a bamboo raft down the Jiuqu stream and look out upon the fantastic peaks and rocks around you. When the ride is finished, you will visit Wuyi Palace, an ancient Taoist Temple. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel for the evening.

Day 03:Wuyishan (B/L/D) Today you will visit ancient kiln site, subtropical biodiversity area and ancient village. Afterwards you will be brought back to your hotel and have free time.

Day 04:Wuyishan- Xiamen (B/L)
Today you will eat breakfast and have free time. Later in the day you will be taken to the airport for your return flight to Xiamen and then brought to your hotel in the late afternoon.

There are several different peaks in the Wuyi Shan area that all have their own unique shape. Wuyi Palace, located at the mountain, was built in the 7th century for emperors to conduct sacrificial ceremonies.
