Tour Itinerary
The first stop on the tour is the famous Shaanxi Museum where you can see the history of Xi'an from a totally new perspective. Afterwards you go to the cities Great Mosque where you can see the religious spot of the cities 60,000 Muslim residents. Afterwards go on to the lengthy City Wall where you are able to ride bikes through the entire length around the city. It was used in ancient times as a military defense. The last stop of the day is The Big Wild Goose Pagoda in close proximity to the city wall. The tower is 7 floors and was constructed in 589 AD. It is still kept up to maintain the authenticity and antiquity that it originally possessed.

The Big Mosque was built in the 1st year of Emperor Tian Bao's reign in the Tang Dynasty and was repaired using Ming style designs in the 17th century. The Mosque is divided into four different sections. There are 50,000 Muslims in Xi'an and the majority comes to this Mosque to pray. Not only do the Huis come here to pray, but many Muslim and Arabic State leaders also come here when they visit China.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda, built in 589 A.D. in the Sui Dynasty, is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. The temple was finished in 652 A.D. and has five stories and is 60 meters tall. The temple has 13 courtyards and used to have nearly 2,000 rooms in the Tang Dynasty but presently there are not as many and those that are left were built in the Ming dynasty.
