Trip Highlights - This tour visits three cultural and historic cities in Hubei Province - Yichang, Jingzhou and Wuhan. Feast your eyes on attractions such as City Wall of Ancient City of Jingzhou, Yellow Crane Tower and East Lake. Yichang, also called Yiling in ancient times, is one of the eleven important tourist cities in China. Yichang is situated at the dividing line of upper and middle reaches of Yangtze River. Along the Yangtze River, through the Three Gorges, people can up to the Sichuan province, while drop down the river, can reach Shanghai area. Yichang is one of the terminuses for the Yangtze Cruise from Chongqing.

Tour Itinerary
Day 01:Yichang
Yichang is located between the upper and middle areas of the Yangtze River. It is the gateway city to the Three Gorges and the Three Gorges Project. This city is home to the largest hydropower project in the world. In the morning you will be driven from your 4 star hotel and visit the Chinese Sturgeon Museum. The museum is located inside the Chinese Sturgeon Garden, located in Xiaoxita. The museum was built in 1993 and its major purpose is to protect and preserve 27 species of sturgeon that still exist in the world, including the rare species of Chinese Sturgeon. After visiting the museum you will be driven back to your hotel.

After eating breakfast, you will drive from Yichang to Jingzhou and then visit the Ancient City Gate Tower and Ancient City Wall upon your arrival. Between the two city gates, there is a space that was used to catch the enemy, called "Urn City". Afterwards, you will tour the Jinzhou Museum. After wards you will drive to Wuhan.

In the morning you will leave your hotel and visit The Yellow Crane Tower, the most famous landmark in Wuhan. After the tour you will visit Guiyan Temple. After the tour, you will be driven to the airport.

The Chinese Sturgeon Museum is located inside Chinese Sturgeon Garden, in Yichang city, Hubei Province. The museum was built in 1993 and its main purpose is to preserve the many different types of sturgeon found in the world, especially the Chinese sturgeon.
Jingzhou is a city that was originally designed for the military. There is a moat outside for protection and also two city gates with a large space in between, used to capture the enemy. The town is divided into three parts: Earth City, Water City and Brick City.
Yellow Crane Tower was first built in 223A.D. and the construction of the present tower was finished in 1985. Throughout its history, the tower was destroyed several times. Yellow Crane Tower overlooks the Yangtze River and is a very important inspirational place for Chinese celebrities and poets.
