The tour kicks off with a visit to the Shaolin Temple, the origin point for Chan Buddhism-Shaolin Kungfu. Afterwards, guests are transferred to Luoyang hotel.

Day 02: Luoyang (B/L)
Get a taste of China’s historical past with a visit to Longmen Caves. The White Horse Temple, Minister Temple. The Longmen Grottoes were listed as a World Heritage Site in Nov, 2000. The White horse Temple was the first Buddhist temple in China in the year 64 of the Eastern Han Dynasty (25-220), the “Cradle of Buddhism in China”.
You are then transferred to the airport to your next destination.
White Horse Temple, It is the first Buddhist temple in the Chinese history ever since Buddhism came to China, is magnificent in scope including many halls, chambers and towers like the Hall of Heavenly Kings, Mahavira (great hero) Hall, Hall of thousand Buddhas, Mahavairocana Chamber, Tower of Bell and Drum and so on.
The Longmen Grottoes are caves that hold ancient Buddhist art. They were all carved during the Northern Wei period, more than 1500 years ago, when the capital of China was relocated to Luoyang near the end of the 5th century. The construction for the Grottoes began in 493 AD during Emperor Xiaowen's reign and continued through 6 dynasties.
