Trip Highlights - This tour of Guangzhou and Zhuahi takes you to visit two famous cities in Guangdong Province. Guangzhou, also known as Canton, is a port on the Pearl River, navigable to the South China Sea. The area is famous overseas because it has been the home town of millions migrants who created Chinatowns around the world, where many westerners first get in touch with Chinese food, social customs. Zhuhai City located in the southwest of the Pearl River Delta of Guangdong Province. It faces Hong Kong to the east across the ocean Lingding, Macao, south, Xinhui and Taishan, west, and Zhongshan to the north. Zhuhai City is 150 kilometers from Guangzhou. Zhuhai has jurisdiction over Xiangzhou District and Doumen County. Its total area of 1,300 km square.

Tour Itinerary
Tour Itinerary: (Lunch)Be picked up from your hotel in Guangzhou by private tour guide and vehicle at. Then we will drive about 3 hours to the beautiful seaside city Zhuhai. Zhuhai is a newly built city with a lot of modern attractions. Blessed by an abundance of blue water and a long shoreline with beautiful sand beaches, it has become one of the best coastal cities in China. Visit Zhuhai Pearl Lady, a landmark of Zhuhai, which stands in Xiangluwang Bay. The 10-km-long Qinglu (Lover’s road) snakes along the far stretching beaches with beautiful scenery overlooking the sea. Proceed to visit Meixi Archway. Move on to visit New Yuan Ming Yuan Palace. The New Yuan Ming Yuan Palace is a rare imitation of Chinese traditional architecture of the long past. Be transferred back to your hotel in Guangzhou after the tour.

Meixi Royal Stone Archways
The Meixi Royal Stone Archways, built in 1886 and 1891 by the Guangxu Emperor, are located in Mei Xi Village, Qianshan town, Zhuai City. There are only three stone archways left. The architectural design is inspired from both western and eastern culture and there are several carvings located all over the archways.
New Yuan Ming Palace
New Yuan Ming Palace is 1.4sq km in area and located near the base of Lanpu Dashilin Mountain. The Palace is designed as a copy of the Old Summer Palace in Beijing that was destroyed in 1860 by French and British troops. The New Yuan Ming Palace was built as a reminder of the one that burned down.
