Xi'an International Golf Club is situated in the North Suburb Agriculture Development Zone in Xi'an. Covering a total area of 329.5 acres, it is around 18 minutes' drive from downtown and 20 minutes from the airport. The course was designed by famous golf course designer Christina Dikson and opened in 2003. It is an 18-hole par 72 international standard golf course with luxury club, driving ranges, tennis courts and swimming pools. Xi'an International Golf Club is a joint venture started in 2000 and put into business in September of 2009. The whole golf course has 18 fairways loacted in the two 'inner' and 'outer' areas, with nine fairways in each. The fairways in the first half area is 3680 yard and the next half 3590 yard, which makes the 18 hole entire length 7270 yard all together, one of the longest fairways in China.
Xi'an International Golf Club mainly features a multi-design with lake area covering 25,890 square meters and 69 bunkers that add the difficulties and challenges in playing golf. The driving ranges have 30 practice positions and 13 standard cabins.
