Tour Itinerary: (B-Breakfast, L-Lunch, D-Dinner)Day 1:Kunming (L/D)
After getting picked up in the airport and transferred to the hotel, guests first visit the Dragon Gate in Western Hills, which lies near the Biji Mountain chains. The Western Hills is uniquely shaped, looking like a girl lying with her face to the sky and her hair blowing in the wind.

Day 2:Kunming/Dali (B/L/D)
Guests take a flight to Dali in the morning and visit the Erhai Lake, where they can enjoy the best the local population has to offer, including the three-course tea ceremony, dancing, singing, as well as a performance by the Bai Minority People. After lunch, guests can go see the architecture of the courtyards in Xizhou Township, the Chongsheng Temple, and the Dali Ancient City.

Day 3:Dali/Lijiang (B/L/D)Today, visitors will be transferred to Lijiang, where they can see the Dayan Ancient Town, recognized by UNESCO as the World’s major Cultural Heritages.

Spend a whole day seeing and admiring the snow-covered Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and White Water River. Guests have the opportunity to take a chair lift and take in the beauty of the Dragon Spruce Meadow. The tour continues in the afternoon with a trip to the Baisha Ancient Frescos in Baisha Naxi village, a unique blend of Han, Tibetan, Bai, Naxi and Daoism Buddhism.

Day 5:Lijiang/Lugu Lake (B/L/D)
Guests drive 6.5 hours too see the splendid and pristine Lugu Lake, which covers an area of 52 square kilometers and is 2,685 meters above sea level. In the evening guests have the opportunity to visit the Mosuo familes, where they experience the unique local food and dance alongside a bonfire.

Day 6: Lugu Lake/Lijiang (B/L/D)Guests take a boat ride in Lugu Lake. In the middle of the lake is Heiwawudao Island, also known as "Chieftain Island" because a chieftain from the Qing Dynasty built his villa on this same island. Also, Rock, a renowned American scientist used to live on Chieftain’s Island. Guests are driven back to Lijiang in the afternoon.

Day 7: Lijiang/Kunming (B/L/D)
Guests take a morning flight to Kunming to visit the Stone Forest, known as the "First Wonder of the World". Guests head back to Kunming in the afternoon to see the Golden Temple, a Daoist Temple where the main building of which is cast entirely in bronze weighing about 280 tons.

Attraction DescriptionDragon Gate Grotto, as part of the Western Hills, took 72 years of work to sculpt from the rock. It was achieved between 1781 and 1853, and lies 15 kilometers west of Kunming, close to the shore of the Dianchi Lake.
The Western Hills are part of the Biji Mountain chain which lies to the west of Kunming. These hills are thought to look like a young girl, lying on the ground and looking up to the sky, and are known throughout the area as the "Sleeping Beauty".
Bai Ethnic Minority, with a total population of around1.4 million people in China, live in tight knit communities with the majority living in the Dali Bai Autonomous Prefecture.
There used to be three pagodas situated at Chongsheng Temple, which is located at the bottom of Diancang Mountain near Lake Erhai.
The Ancient City of Dali, also known as Yeyu City, Zhonghezhen and Forbidden City, is located just north of Xiaguan, the capital of Dali area. The wall around the city is 8 meters high and 7 meters thick with the interior of the wall being made up of rocks and smoothed at the top.
The Town of Lijiang is separated into two tonws divided by Lion Hill. One section is called the New Town, which was created over 40 years ago, and the Old Town, over 850 years go.
