Tour Itinerary: (Lunch & Dinner)
Hutong is an area of Old Beijing built several hundreds of years ago where the houses are all one story courtyards and the streets are very narrow.
Duration: 3 hours
Morning tour: 09:30am -12:30am
Afternoon tour: 2:30pm - 5:30pm
Your guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you to the Shishahai area. This area has many cultural relics protected by the government.
A:Free pick-up service from your hotel either at 9:30 or 2:30.
B:You will be taking rickshaws pulled by men as your means of transportation.
C:Visit the Bell Tower and Drum Tower.
D:Visit Prince Gong"s Mansion, one of the most famous mansions of the Qing Dynasty.
E:Visit the Hutong market and the Hutong Area.
F:Visit a Beijing family in their home and have either lunch or dinner with them.
G:After the tour, you will be driven back to your hotel.
The Bell Tower and Drum Tower of Beijing are located close together at the northern end of the central line of Beijing's large inner city. The bell tower is located at the back and the Drum tower is positioned at the front.
The word "hutung" comes originally from Mongolian but has since been adapted into the Chinese language. It refers to the drainage canals that can be seen in much of the cities alleyways typical to Beijing and is now the name by which all such areas go by. Hutungs first became common hundreds of years ago and are very characteristic of ancient Beijing.

Answer:Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and drive you to Hutong area. Then you will get on a rickshaw and be taken around to the many different sites in the Hutong. You also have the chance to visit the local families, see the traditional Chinese courtyards – Siheyuan and have lunch in a family. After the tour, your guide will drive you back to your hotel.
