Badaling Great Wall
The Badaling section of the Great Wall is located roughly 70 kilometers northwest from the center of Beijing. It is a defensive outpost of the Great Wall occupying a commanding strategic position. It is called "Bada" as it stretches in all directions. The Badaling Great Wall is not only the best preserved but also the most impressive and representative section of the Great Wall. It also stands in testimony to many pivotal historical events. Badaling is the most famous and most-visited section of the Great Wall in China.
