Tiger Beach Scenic Area

Located in the south coast of Dalian, Tiger Beach Scenic Area is a famous attractions in Dalian City for its beautiful beaches, stone sculpture and great swimming. The beach was named Tiger Beach due to several rocks in the sea that resemble sleeping tigers. Inside the public park, there are several entertainment facilities, including an aquatic amusement park that features dolphin shows, as well as places to eat and the largest aviary in China. As the best-known scenic area in Dalian, here you can not only see rare polar animals like beluga whales, sea otters, sea elephant and duckers that come to China for the first time but also other animals like cute dolphins, lovely penguins, polar bears and so on.
To the eastern part is the Tiger Beach Park covers 15700 square meters, highlighting the largest granite sculpture in China, where "the running tigers sculpture"- the largest animal sculpture in the world. Six vivid sculpture tigers make the irregular square the most outstanding among dozens of squares in Dalian. To the southwest of Tiger Beach lies Singing Birds Woods, covering 4,500 square meters with a gigantic bird cage which is 36.4 meters long and 7 meters high.
