Yangshuo County
Yangshuo County is part of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering over 1,428 square kilometers in the northeastern part of the region. The Yangshuo Town is famous for its stunning natural sceneries with karst peaks, caves, and rivers. It covers an area of 1,428 square kilometers and has 20,000 hectares of land used for agricultural cultivation. The culture of the people of Yangshuo County is rich ad varied, with performances such as the lion and dragon dances, and a long drum dance. There are also many sites of historical interest in the Yangshuo County, including stone carvings, bridges and gardens which are thought to rival that of Guilin city. Many of these buildings and monuments of cultural heritage are located near to the Li River which winds through Yangshuo County, adding to the images of natural beauty of the scenery.
