Ergun River
The Ergun River being the origins of Heilongjiang in northeast China, is 1,620 km long. It is crossing in the Mongolian plateau northeastern border. The headwaters of rivers source come out from Daxinganling western slope. Ergun River is a part of Heilongjiang source, In the Qing Dynasty was called "Room to build River". It was used to be the northeast of the current Sino-Russian border river for the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. Ergun, in Mongolian means "to hand-delivered objects" . The upper reaches of the Argun near the Hailar River, originates from the west side of Daxinganling west flow to the foot of Batu, off the northbound beginning of the Argun side.
