Xuzhou Museum
Xuzhou Museum is located north of Yunlong Mountain and houses cultural artifacts from the city and is also responsible for the collection and restoring of new artifacts. There are several different types of cultural relics on display here as well as a very extensive souvenir center where you can buy replicas of the museum and other souvenirs. The construction of Xuzhou Museum was based on the site of the temporary imperial palace of Emperor Qianlong, built for his inspection tour of the South of the Yangtze River in 1757.
The Stone Tablet Garden at the east is a typical ancient Chinese garden architecture, tranquil and elegant. And this Xuzhou Museum was built and opened to the public in 1985 and shows the historical ups and downs of the city, and especially represents the profound culture of the Han Dynasty to worldwide travelers.
