Angola

Angola, officially the Republic of Angola, is a country in south-central Africa with the area of about 1,246,700 square kilometers and an estimated population of 18.5 million people. Luanda is the capital which is the political, economic, culture and industry centre of the country. Portuguese is the official language since it was a Portuguese overseas territory from the 16th century to 1975 before the independence. China established the diplomatic relations with Angola in 1983, since then China has continuously provided economic and technical assistance for Angola. And Angola is one of China's largest trade partners in Africa.
