Germany, officially the Federal Republic of Germany, is a country in Western and Central Europe. The territory of Germany covers an area of 357.021 km2 and with a population of 81.8 million Germany accounts for the most populous member state of European Union. Germany is a federal parliamentary republic of sixteen states and it hold key position in EU and some other world affairs. The national day of Germany is October 3rd, 1990. Germany is regarded as a leading country in many scientific and techonoligical fields. Germany started deplomatic relations with China on October 11th, 1972.
