Bahamas

The Bahamas, officially the Commonwealth of the Bahamas, is an islands country located in the west Atlantic Ocean, which covers 29 islands, 661 cays, and 2,387 islets (rocks). The Bahamas stretches from northwest to southeast about 1220 kilimters long and 96 kilometers wide. On the islands of Bahamas there inhabitates a good population of 333,000 people. China and the Bahamas established diplomatic relations on 23rd, May, 1997. The bilateral relations are inhanced by great cooperation and exchanges in the fields of politics, economy, culture and education, etc.
