Brunei

Brunei, officially the State of Brunei Darussalam or the Nation of Brunei, the Abode of Peace, is a country located on the north coast of the island of Bornei, in Southeast Asia. It covers an area of totally 5765 square kilometers and has an estimated population of 395,027 people. Brunei regained its independence from the United Kingdom on 1 January 1984 and is a member of the Commonwealth of Nations. It developed diplomatic relation with China on September 30, 1991. The bilateral relations between the two counties have enjoyed smooth development ever since.
