Bulgaria

Bulgaria, officially the Republic of Bulgaria, is a country in the Balkans in southeastern Europe. With a territory of 110,994 km2, Bulgaria ranks as the third largest state in Southeast Europe. It has a population of 1.25 million with the largest settlement in its capital Sofia. The country has a rather industrialised, open free market economy, with a large, moderately advanced private sector and a number of strategic state-owned enterprises. Bulgaria developed diplomatic relation with China on Octerber 4th, 1949. Since then the two nations have adopted a very sophisticated bilateral policy with each other.
