D.R. Congo

The Democratic Republic of the Congo, known as Zaire or Congo-Kinshasa, is a country located in Central Africa, with a small length of Atlantic coastline. As the third largest country in Africa by area after Sudan and Algeria, Congo-Kinshasa covers an area of 2,345,409 square kilometers with a population of more than 71 million people. As a result of its equatorial location, the Congo experiences large amounts of precipitation and has the highest frequency of thunderstorms in the world. The diplomatic relations between the two nations have been on and off some times. The trade between China and the D.R. Congo developed nicely.
