Fiji

Fiji, officially the Republic of The Fiji Islands, is a country located in South Pacific Ocean which covers an area of 1.8 million square kilometers with 322 islands, among which 106 of them are permanantly inhabited with humanbeing, and 522 other islets. With a population of 868 thousands people, the majority of Fiji is native Fijians (Melanesians) and Indo-Fijians which are descendants of Indian labourers brought here in the 19th century. Fiji is a dream land for holidays and recreations. In 1975, China and Fiji established the diplomatic relationship. Since then, China-Fiji relations have been develping continuously on the basis of the Five Principle of Peaceful Co-existence.
