Guyana

Guyana is the third-smallest independent state located in the northeast of mainland South America, which is fully called Co-operative Republic of Guyana and previously known as British Guyana. Guyana covers an area of over 214 thousand square kilometers and has a population of approximately 0.78 million people. Guyana established diplomatic relations with China on June 27th, 1972. The main economic activities in Guyana are agriculture, mining, fishing and minerals. Guyana has very good cooperations with China on many aspects, and the bilateral collabrations still have a long way to go.
