Iran

Iran, officially the Islamic Republic of Iran, is a country in Central Eurasia and Western Asia. Iran is the 18th largest country in the world with an total area about 1.65 million squarekilometers and a population of 70 million. The capital city is Tehran. The political system of the Islamic Republic is based on the 1979 Constitution. The Supreme Leader is Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, controls the military intelligence and security operations; and has sole power to declare war or peace. The Culture of Iran is a mix of ancient pre-Islamic culture and Islamic culture. It developed diplomatic relation with China on Augest 16,1971. The national day is Febrary 11th.
