Lithuania, officially the Republic of Lithuania is a Northern European country in the southernmost of the three Baltic states. The territory of Lithuania covers an area of 65,200 square kilometers and the population is 3.25 million estimated with multi-ethnic features. The economy of Lithuania is comparatively developed among countries independent from Soviet Union; The economy mainly relies on industry especially mining, manufacture and energy. The national day of Lithuania is February 16th. Lithuania established diplomatic relations with China on September 14th, 1991.
