Malta

Malta, officially the Republic of Malta, is a small island country consisting of an archipelago situated centrally in the Mediterranean in the southern Europe. Known as "the Heart of Mediterranean", Malta covers an area of 316 square kilometers with a population of 412,966 people, which makes it one of Europe's smallest and Europe's most densely populated countries. Malta established diplomatic relations with China on January 31th, 1972. Since then the stateleaders of two nations paid regular visits to each other and the bilateral cooperations have been undergoing smoothly.
