Nigeria, officially the Federal Republic of Nigeria, is a federal constitutional republic in West Africa. As the most populous country in Africa, it is situated on the Gulf of Guinea. Nigeria cover an area of 923,768 square kilometers and has a population of more than 152 million people. Nigeria is classified as an emerging market, and is rapidly approaching middle income status. Nigeria established diplomatic relations with China on February10th, 1971. Since then, the bilateral relations have been developing steadily and rapidly.
