Papua New Guinea

Papua New Guinea, officially the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, is the biggest Island country in South Pacific area. PNG covers an area of 462,840 square kilometers with over 600 islets in total and a population of more or less seven million. China and PNG established diplomatic relations on October 12th, 1976. Since then the two nations have laid great efforts on multi-cooperations on various aspects. The state leaders of both countries pay many mutual visits to each other. PNG now is the biggest and the most important trading partner of China among the South Pacific island nations.
