Peru

Peru, known the Republic of Peru officially, is a country located in western South America. Covering an area of 1,285,216 square kilometers, it is bordered on the north by Ecuador and Colombia, on the east by Brazil, on the southeast by Bolivia, on the south by Chile, and on the west by the Pacific Ocean. With an estimated population of 29 million, the Peruvian population is multiethnic, including Amerindians, Europeans, Africans and Asians. Peru established diplomatic relations with China on November 2nd, 1971. It is a very important trade and investment parterner in South America.
