Quatar

Qatar, also known as the State of Qatar or locally Dawlat Qatar, is an Arab emirate in the Middle East, occupying the small Qatar Peninsula on the northeasterly coast of the larger Arabian Peninsula. It covers an area of totally 11,437 square kilometers and has a population of more than 1.6 million people. Qatar is an oil and gas rich nation, with the third largest gas reserves and the second highest GDP per capita in the world. Qatari culture (music, art, dress, and cuisine) is extremely similar to that of other Arab countries of the Persian Gulf. It developed diplomatic relation with China on July 9, 1988.
