Trinidad and Tobago

The Republic of Trinidad and Tobago is located in the southern Caribbean Sea. Trinidad and Tobago covers an area of 5,131 square kilometers and has a population of 1.31 million people. The economy of Trinidad and Tobago is primarily industrial mainly of petroleum and petrochemicals. The nation established diplomatic relations with China in April 1971. Since then the bilateral friendship has been consolidated and developed continuously. China and Trinidad and Tobago have enjoyed mutual understanding of and support for each other in international affairs.
