Tunisia

Tunisia, officially the Tunisian Republic, is a country in upper Africa, the northernmost country on the African continent. It covers an area of 163,610 square kilometers and has an estimated population of 10.4 million people. Despite of its relatively small size, Tunisia has great geographical and climatic diversity. Arabic is Tunisia's official language. Due to the former french occupation, French also plays a major role in the country, despite having no official status. Being ranked the most competitive economy in Africa, Tunisia has a diverse economy, ranging from agriculture, mining, manufacturing, petroleum products and tourism. China established diplomatic relations with Tunisia in 1964.
