Vanuatu

Located in the South Pacific Ocean, Vanuatu, "our lands", officially the Republic of Vanuatu, is an island country. The territory of Vanuatu covers an area of 11,000 square kilometers with a population of 200,000 approximately. The official language of Vanuatu is English, French and Bislama. Vanuatu claimed its indepence on July 30th, 1980. China and Vanuatu established diplomatic relations in March, 1982. The two nations have been undergoing a healthy mutual cooperation in various aspects, including economy, tourism, sports and other fields.
